Candel Keep, home of the Count of Candel, is one of the Empires relics of war. Along with structures such as the Castle Kerney, Greywood, and the Fortress of the Rose, it is one of the few Imperial Fortifications still under the control of Imperial Nobility, as opposed to Imperial Militia control.

Candel Keep is said to be currently manned by Halflings, or Hobbits. It is located on a cliff overlooking the sea and is surrounded by a small village.
