Not much is known about the small, remote town of Kirsch. Located in the northwestern regions of the Blue Sun Mountains, it is best known as being the neighboring settlement to the Fortress of the Rose. This vast and fortified fortress was built under the reign of Thocoly Lob.

Kirsch was built by settlers from the Pallassi and Felineo. This town preserves it's traditions resolutely, with strong faith in Simiah and Cattar. A small temple of Simiah, with adjoining cemetery, is this town's center for community activities.

Sometime after the resolution of the Second Barbarian War, the Fortress of the Rose was awarded to the Baron of Fenning. During the following years, Kirsch and the Baron's fortress slowly lost touch with the Empire. Since then, Kirsch has rarely contacted with the Empire, and the Baron's successors have been somewhat anonymous.
