Legend has it that Otolia Isle was once a place of incredible natural beauty, populated by Elves. But in times far past, it is said that a war between Elven clans devastated the Isle, and for some time it was used as a refuge for pirates.

For the past two hundred years, Otolia Isle has been the location of the greatest Imperial Prison yet, Borthdern Keep. With twelve towers, an enormous walled area, dungeons, and a legion of footmen, Borthdern has been called the "impregnable stockade".
